About Van Cleve

In 2024, 12-year-old Jedidiah VanCleve expressed to his parents that he wanted them to form a band together. Bryson and Jill VanCleve had each been playing music for approximately 26 years, including 16 years performing as the duo TROUBADUO.

The family had played music together for fun in the past, with Jedidiah contributing harmonica, cajon, and occasional vocals. But in 2024, they officially became VAN CLEVE. Jedidiah passionately began learning the drums, Jill started learning the bass, and Bryson picked up his electric guitar again—bringing a dynamic new full-band sound to the family’s music.

At the end of 2024, Van Cleve signed a record deal with The Fellowship Music Label. By 2026, the band had completed its first album, We Carry On, featuring seven songs produced by Steele Dortch at Studio 221 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The full album is scheduled for release by early fall 2026.

They look forward to the journey ahead as they hit the road to share these songs—and the many other tunes on their hearts—with audiences everywhere.

Van Cleve’s versatility allows the band to connect with a wide variety of audiences and venues. They are available for churches, ministry events, festivals, and other gatherings that welcome Christian music, performing praise-and-worship favorites, gospel-inspired arrangements, and original songs of faith and hope.

They also offer a broader set for restaurants, wineries, family-friendly bars, community events, and other live-music venues, featuring additional original music alongside covers by artists such as Creedence Clearwater Revival, Tom Petty, Etta James, Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, and more. Whether performing as a full electric band or in a more intimate acoustic setting, Van Cleve can tailor the music to complement the atmosphere and audience.

Bryson and Jill have performed at hundreds of venues, festivals, churches, private functions, community events, and media programs across the United States—primarily during their 16 years as the duo TROUBADUO. Jedidiah joined them for select family performances before the trio officially became VAN CLEVE in 2024. Since then, the full family band has continued performing throughout Arkansas and beyond.
